Dr Ora Golan ran two large clinics in New York City, one on Park Avenue and one in Kew Gardens, Queens. Golan studied the NAET allergy neutralization method under Dr Nomberford in Los Angeles and took advanced instruction in Geneva. Golan is married and the mother of two.

She is an avid dog lover and has had an affinity for animals since her youth.
